Essential Question: | How do we combat environmental problems that affect all of our lives? |
Summary: | Students will research the issues of environmental pollution and destruction and discuss the efforts of environmental protection and community planning. Then, they will create infographics in groups and present on topics including renewable and clean energy, effective use of transportation, the 3R’s (reuse, reduce and recycle), and the three pollutants- air, solid wastes and water. |
Bi-lingual | This lesson plan can be used for classes in English as well as classes in Chinese. A number of supporting documents are in Chinese with English translations. There are also supporting documents that can be used to build environment related vocabulary in Chinese. |
